Here in the UK we have modern 3 lane motorways linking most parts of the Country, is it beyond current technological advances to build a pipe network from the places that have plenty to the places that have little? Of course it isn't but then water companies are in the private sector and do not want to pay for it.

Far easier to instigate a hosepipe ban and close down car washes for a Month or two isn't it, particularly when big water has the ear of Government.

Very true Geezer. At the same time, the 'water shortage' can be used to support the man-made global warming/climate change myth and therefore 'justify' further tax increases.

There is no problem with building thousands of useless wind turbines and constructing many miles of additional cabling grid, on land and at sea. But constructing a water grid is just TOO expensive. Even a high speed train that few people will be able to afford to use, and costing many £billions of taxpayers' money, is possible. But still no water grid is affordable. The inconsistency of thinking at official level is mind-blowing in its irrationality.
