I am so sad to say that my husband, Colin Heawood, passed away on Sunday morning 14th April. He was very brave and I would like to write a tribute when I am emotionally able to. :-(

Thankyou so much, Percy.

The time is drawing near for Colin's funeral. It will be on Wednesday at 2.30 at Amersham so I hope the sun shines like it did today. It is going to be a service to celebrate the life of a gentleman and very caring person. Some of his favourite classical music is going to be played, and there will be members of the Fire Brigade with banner paying respects too.
I feel honoured that Colin chose me to be his wife and we were married for almost 44 years.

Thankyou for your condolences, Percy, and it was really good to see you left such a kind message on here.

With Best Wishes from

Marian

Thankyou, Jon, for your message and condolences.
These messages on the net, and also family, friends and neighbours help me to keep going, as Colin would have wanted.
With thanks again

Marian

Thankyou, Jon.
The day was beautiful, blue skies, sunshine, and the service was beautiful too. The presence of the Fire Brigade paying their respects was all around us too and music that Colin loved, not forgetting floral tributes. It was joy and sadness, and an air of pride. R.I.P. Colin.

Thankyou, Mike, for your kind message.

I am missing him so much and finding it difficult to settle to anything much at the moment. His love and knowledge of Classical music was awesome and together with all the other exceptional qualities he had as a person made him very special.
All Good Wishes to you and thankyou again
From Marian
