I was really pleased to hear from one of the ladies who came to the Hayes End Methodist Church Hall in September. She had gone to Mellow Lane before I went there but she remembered Brian Trant and the choir.

Thankyou to Joan (on left) for getting in touch and sending all the interesting pictures. That was a great surprise.
Marian.

Brian Trant, he was one of my teachers at Yeading lane Junior school during WW2 A very funny guy and very popular, (If it was the same guy)then when I moved on to Mellow Lane school and he also took up his position there, the personality change had to be seen to believed, as now with older boys he had to adapt, so from his happy go lucky personality, turned into the disciplinarian he really was, that was a shock to the system, but as I remember a really fair guy.
