Getting back into work when on incapacity benefit / universal credit

The guidelines at present are that the law sets down how much a person and their family need to live on.

If you start work at less than 16 hours a week and earn less than £95 (approx) a week you keep your incapacity benefit but lose income support. If you work or earn more than that you get disabled persons tax credits under the universal credit system.

You need the NHS support form to continue to get free prescriptions similar to students.
there is also the disabled students allowance
