Abu Qatada has been upgraded to a larger taxpayer-funded home since his release from jail last month, the Mail can reveal.

The terror suspect has told relatives in his native Jordan that he is the ‘happiest man in England’ after he was rehoused to the more expensive property.

His wife and five children are also said to be ‘delighted’ with the move, because their new home has more bedrooms, a bigger garden and more modern fittings.

Qatada, who was once described by a judge as ‘Osama Bin Laden’s right-hand man in Europe’, asked to switch houses a week after being freed from Long Lartin jail in February.

The hate preacher had initially moved into a £400,000 home in Wembley, North London – organised by the local authority – where his family were said to be paying £1,900 a month rent which they funded through benefits.

Yet a few Seniors in Commonwealth Countries are annually denied their COL increases because it would be a burden on the UK Tax Payers !!
Maybe we should all return and take advantage of these benefits or are they ONLY available to non- brit's ?

HMG are just to scared to upset this guy, as he has mates in high places, he says jump! and we ask how high, we have a Lilly livered administration that has never done a real days work in their lives, a same price opposition, who claim to know it all, but in fact know nothing of the world the rest of us live in, they blunder their way through going from near disaster, too near disaster, we never know just how near to it we get! its a great mutual backscratching clique, on all sides of the house, one side the business men have their interests taken care of, on the other side pacified union leaders hold onto their overpaid lifestyle with Gold plated pensions, the fodder that is the rest of us meanwhile live day to day, our main task being to carry on in ignorance saying nothing, all we ask is a fair shake, a dividend of sorts and not a charitable handout to pacify us and keep the wheels turning, this sort of democracy just is not working any more, all we are doing is paying other peoples debits. :? :?
