… for the phrase “morally repugnant” to come back and bite this Government.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... -that.html

Quote:
[]Multi-millionaire Cabinet minister Andrew Mitchell was accused of hypocrisy yesterday after investing in a company that avoided millions of pounds in tax.
The former investment banker put cash into a network of property firms that used a loophole to dodge paying £2.6million in stamp duty.

The property deal is at the centre of a major tax avoidance case – and the International Development Secretary’s financial involvement provoked embarrassment for the Government.
In last week’s Budget, Chancellor George Osborne described ‘aggressive tax avoidance’ as ‘morally repugnant’ and warned he would come down ‘like a ton of bricks’ on anyone who sought to evade stamp duty.
Now let's see that ton of bricks from Osborne come down on Mitchel.

Nothing of course will happen the rhetoric and rules do not apply to the ruling elite only the serfs.

By the same token the MSM notably the BBC will not even mention this.

In order to portray the image that all is well in Europe they did not report yesterdays General strike and large scale rioting in Spain. Spain is approaching bailout territory and today will announce an austerity budget in an attempt to hold the need for a bailout off.

The BBC only reported it when the police were firing rubber bullets.

We are more civilized here, we merely give people prison sentences for looting a pair of trainers.

Taking shareholders and taxpayers for a few dozen £££Billions is, of course, not a criminal offence, merely the sort of unfortunate thing that could happen to and decent, unsuspecting Banker chap. Accidentally claiming expenses for a mortgage that doesn't exist is also pure accident. As I say one rule for them one for us if you cannot see this or deliberately choose to believe different you need your hgad examined!!
