The contest, launched by the Duchess of Cornwall, is for 10 to 15-years-olds. But Republic says involving children in celebrations of the monarchy without teaching them about republicanism as well is a breach of the Education Act. Hands up who wants Coronation Chicken for dinner? The stupidity of some minority organisations is only surpassed in what they decide to complain about. |

Funny how some people insist on balance on some things but not others. I bet the same people would be frothing at the mouth at any suggestion schoolchildren should be told that all the green propaganda they're fed might possibly not all be true or that just maybe there aren't really any monkeys or fish in their family tree. |
