Does anybody know what's happened to the recycling company at the end of Trout? I remember a few years ago it opened up and the Gazette had a big front page article about how great it was.

We used to see a lot of trucks going down to it piled high with waste for recycling and then noticed that the factory was just storing the stuff and not moving it out anywhere.

We walk the dog around that area once or twice a week and there has been absolutely no movement there at all. No men working, no radio playing - it's been deserted.

It's piled high with rubbish - looks really awful from the canal side.

Mrs SOT & I walked past there recently, along the footpath beside the yard from the slough arm of the canal. It's disgusting, Rubbish blowing everywhere and very busy rats. We didnt hang around!

It was a weekend so I didnt see it had been abandoned

We often go there as it's close to where we live and these days never hear men working, machinery or the radio in the little office. It used to freak our dog out as he didn't like the sound of the machinery but it's been quiet for a few months.
