My apologies for replying so late Westonman. I saw that website a couple of weeks ago but couldn't figure out how to work all the features on it. Excellent site though and thanks for sharing it.

This global live wind map: http://earth.nullschool.net/#current/wi ... ,38.34,408 is very interesting. click on and wind pattern and the wind speed in k/hr is indicated in the bottom left of the screen. At the time of posting this there is a very nasty looking depressen aproaching the south west of the UK, wiith the red areas indicating wind speeds approaching 70 mph. |
