Hillingdon Neighbourhood Watch researches all security products that are brought to our attention.

If we can, we try and negotiate a deal with manufacturers or suppliers to benefit our residents who support HNW and of course it helps us all in the fight against crime. The offers are published for you to take up if you wish to do so.

We recently announced a deal with "Ring" doorbells which has had a substantial take up, which is excellent.

I am now pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement with Automatrics Limited the professional vehicle tracking company, who are offering a 10% discount on their products to West Area BCU Neighbourhood Watch members.

The theft of vehicles of all types is an increasing problem; for example, more scooters were stolen than were sold in London last year, around 17,000. Keyless high end cars are being taken, land rovers and vans are also being stolen. Whilst NHW members are encouraged to use physical locks and to keep keyless fobs inside a faraday cage bag when not in use, trackers give you the opportunity to recover your vehicle should the worst happen.

I have personally looked at the Automatrics products and the organisation supporting it, and I give this company a 5 star rating - the MPS have been working with this company in East London for some time now with the NHW over there.

In the near future Hillingdon NHW will be working very closely with Automatrics as we think outside the box of ways this super tracking kit can be used in different settings.
