Sorry Geezer, don't get where you're coming from. Both stories are of interest, both came to light within a couple of days, what's the Mail supposed to do, suppress one of them incase Guardian readers tut tut?

The mail is hated with some vitriol in some sections of society usually Guardian readers and is always the first to fire up the outrage bus...... Reporting two such like stories together like this just gives the critics ammunition...

Thank goodness the Mail doesn't care about its noisy critics who represent an over-represented minority opinion. Sasha's in the Mail again today because his mum has put him on Youtube.

No doubt there Geezer466. It is cruelty, outrageous cruelty! It is also a sign of the times we are living in.

These days the perception is, we are so sophisticated, wise, and politically correct; and we are approaching the zenith of our evolutionary process in readiness for that illusive utopian state. Instead we have become fools – and dangerous self-destructive fools at that. And the first to suffer for our folly are usually the children, the innocent, and the defenceless.
