I have a friend visiting in the next couple of weeks, and we are looking to do a bike ride.

Unfortunately my friend would need to hire a bike, does anyone know where I can hire a bike he is quite tall 6ft3

Thanks in advance

Recycle a bike at Fassnidge Hall garage sell second hand bicycles, you could ask if they are willing to lend / hire one of them.

Sent email hopefully hear back on Monday.

The website is great and it looks like they do organised bike rides on Saturdays.

Organised Cycle Rides
The Recycle-a-Bike team meets at the workshop most Saturdays at 9.30am for an organised cycle ride. So if you want to get to know the local area or just want people to cycle with, why not join us?

Sadly they don't hire bikes at the moment :-(

If anyone else has any pointers for bike hire

Getting so desperate I might try that, in the meantime if anyone has a bike to lend this Sunday for a couple of bottles of wine

I could, but it's a bit rubbish and you'd be better collecting it during the week incase it needs tarting up a bit (tyres pumped up etc).

Thanks again Jon, I've managed to get the bike out of the car successfully and it's now safely in my hallway.
