Driving down Charville Lane yesterday evening, I saw a very sad site... a beautiful, shiny red E Type Jaguar had been involved in a collision and was in the middle of the junction with Hoppner Road all crumpled up. Would have loved to have got a pic to show you, but was in a hurry.

Someone living nearby says the driver told them he'd only just got the car on the road after 37 years!! He apparently said he was hit by a drunk driver, who drove off but then returned on foot and was breathalysed and arrested when police arrived.

Usual caveat: that's all bush telegraph.

Type E Jaguar after 37 years restoration ?

Maybe the death penalty should be restored just for this drunk driver !

E types you wear them and if you are tall, you will never get one that fits. :o :o
