1. Everyone's complaining that biscuits, especially digestives, don't taste the same and crumble too easily. Turns out the manufacturers have changed the recipe to make them allegedly "healthier". Who wants to eat a biscuit they don't like??

2. The health gestapo long ago persuaded sugar companies to put less sugar in the little sachets you get in cafes and canteens. I now need to open 5 or 6 sachets of sugar at work for my coffee just to get the taste of two spoons of sugar. Grrrrrr.

3. Ha ha ha!!! YET ANOTHER study has found that chocolate is GOOD for you. In fact, this latest study - of nearly a thousand people - found that those that eat chocolate most often were slimmer than those who eat little or no chocolate. The scientists have concluded that perhaps we don't understand as much about calories and the human body as we think we do. They believe natural chemicals occurring in chocolate probably speed up the metabolism and cause the body to burn off more fat naturally.

Another one in the eye for the idiots that, for example, ban chocolate and other snacks from school lunchboxes.

chocolate digestives haven't been right for quite a while and I stopped buying them.

I'll stick to home made cake in future - that certainly isn't low in fat or sugar

that could be the reason I stopped getting them, but did not know they had changed as such, just did not do it for me so I stopped getting them. and who wants to live to a 100 with all this interference anyway :o :o

We don't buy them any more. I've just eaten two shortbread fingers - full of fat, sugar and flavour - mmmm!

My son moved house at the weekend and I made a lemon drizzle cake to take round there. It seemed to go down well with the workers

It certainly wasn't low in fat or sugar but when you are working hard and stop for a break and a cuppa you don't need healthy codswallop do you.
