I don't understand the usual 'racers'. Especially as they are more than likely going to work = what's the rush ?
I usually have a play and if I see one zooming up the inside lane, and the conditions are right, I speed up a little so they end up behind the inside lane slower moving vehicle. Under these circumstances the ones behind usually bunch up and prevent these idiots pulling out
It's been quite a while now since anything comical happened. The last one was on the M4, westbound. I tend to stick at 60mph going to work as it's very fuel efficient and relaxing. I was sat in the inside lane in a sort of convoy doing 60 and Mr Mondeo must have thought I was about to peel off down the Heathrow spur. I assume his intention was to do the same but whilst I take the sliproad inside lane he would take the outside lane and speed down to the roundabout - - - wrong, I am going straight on to the M25. he had nowhere to go and couldn't brake as he had a few quite close behind him so I took him down to the M25 as well

All he had to do was get into the inside lane a bit earlier where there was a suitable gap but as quite a few do, they speed all the way down to the front of the convoy and then cut in (or try to).
